Life magazine is reborn

Life magazine has been reborn -- again. I remember Life from my youth, before it went the way of Pintos and liberal Republicans. Then, years later, it was briefly revived but quickly flopped in an era of micro-niche publications.
So it was a nice surprise to see the new Life as part of my San Jose Mercury News on Friday. Life is now coming bundled with dozens of major newspapers around the country -- a great alternative delivery system. The opening issue was fairly thin, but it contained some remarkable photos, which Life has always been famous for. Congrats on the rebirth.
(By the way, I tried to blog this Friday night, but for the sixth time in the past few weeks, TypePad's servers were down around midnight local time, which is getting to be a major hassle -- for me, anyway.)
