Blog advertising: No riches so far
Doc asks how much Moxie and I and other bloggers are making from those ads over there on the right under Sponsored Links.
Well, I don't know any of us who are getting rich in the blog ad game. I just started running the things two months ago. All told it's about $100 a month. And I still have to think about adding BlogAds to the mix at some point. But basically, it's just preparing the ground for what's coming down the road.

Shame, you do know that google's policy says you are not suppose to say how much you are making don't you? (Sly grin is across my face.)
This is interesting. I don't run google ads on my 3 blogs. I do run them on other niche content sites. I have around 20 thousand unique visitors a month and my revenue from google ads alone is around 13 cnotes. Most the ads that run are high pay per click ads. (Debt consolidation, loans, refi stuff.
Ad in affiliate pay and the site does well for something I do not spend more than 5 hours a month on.
Do you think blogging would generate less clicks on ads as opposed to a surfer showing up to a static content site?
