X1 for searching your computer
David Weinberger writes:
X1 is the best desktop search engine I've found for Windows. It indexes your email, your contacts, and all the files on your desktop. Want to find that email talks about phlogiston? By the time you've finished typing in "phl," X1 will have found it. I use it maybe 5 times a day.
I wrote about X1 last September but never got around to downloading it. Thanks for the kick in the pants, David. It would be nice to think that a tool can reliably locate any file on your PC in a second or two.

x1? no way man, blinkx is the way to go! i've tried them both and blinkx wins everytime, way more accurate and useful. i like the fact it finds related stuff using the toolbar icons. Go give it a try...
