Siva guest-blogs from Lessig's perch
Siva Vaidhyanathan of NYU's
Department of Culture and Communication is blog-sitting at Larry Lessig's blog as Lessig attends to business. Siva's new book, The Anarchist in the Library, appears in bookstores starting today.
Siva's already got three postings up, including his take on Free Culture and the Future of Music.
At the Future of Music summit, Siva says, "it became clear that some high-profile musicians were coached to spit out lines intended to make copyright maximization a wedge issue among artists. ... there was definitely an undercurrent of panic among some parties." More to follow from Vaidhyanathan.
