Photos of RoboNexus
One of the cool things about living on the northern tip of Silicon Valley is that I can skate down whenever there's an interesting event. That was the case today on the final day of RoboNexus, the largest robot event ever produced in the United States.
Hundreds of people turned out -- geeks worthy of a Wayne's World remake, inventors, and families with kids in tow. I headed there mostly for an upcoming interview that will appear in Engadget, but while I was there, I snapped these photos.
In 10 or 20 years, we'll look back at these early robot prototypes and chuckle. In the meantime, it's an interesting look at the state of the robotics industry.
