Moblogging Nashville

Podcaster/audio-blogger Brendan Greeley has put together a mobcast around Blog Nashville this coming weekend (I'm flying out Friday and speaking on a panel Friday evening with Instapundit's Glenn Reynolds, et al -- say hey if you're planning to attend).

Writes Brendan:

The idea is that anyone can call in to a single line and record a message to mp3 that will be displayed on a blog and fed as a podcast. It's essentially a public voicemail, but I think (hope) it'll reveal something about the event that might not have come out of everyone's collected blog posts.

Mobcasting is a relatively new phenomenon -- a lot of competing tools to make it possible are in beta right now -- and it'll be interesting to see what comes of it this weekend.

Absolutely.

The full explanation and instructions are here.
