The WELL on the block

I attended the Breakfast Cabal at Saul's in Berkeley this morning -- Jeff Ubois, Mable Yee, Sylvia Paull, Paul Wicks, Kaliya Hamlin and Stuart Henshall were among those on hand -- and since I hadn't cracked open my morning paper yet, I was surprised to hear that Salon is selling the WELL, the pioneering online community that now has 4,000 members. (I'm one of them.) As someone suggested, maybe the WELL community should buy the WELL.

By the way, we're discussing the issues raised by "Darknet" on the WELL's inkwell this week. You don't need to be a WELL member to participate.
