The road to 'Syriana'

The Mercury News today has an interview with Stephen Gaghan, the screenwriter of Syriana, which opens Friday.

Here's the Participate.net Oil Change group blog, which is heating up.

Meantime, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) -- which has paid for training for police and prosecutors, and funded shelters and other services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking -- expired Sept. 30, and this unconscionable Congress is scheduled to adjourn Dec. 16 without reauthorizing the act.

Participate.net asks you to send an email to your congressman.
