At OnHollywood

I'm at the OnHollywood conference, at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood (Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickwick founded the hotel, Marilyn Monroe had a photo shoot out by the pool, the 1929 Academy Awards were held here).

Wifi connectivity is really poor here, so no point in a long post that won't make it. I moderated the opening panel, "Is the Web the New Hollywood?," with Jeremy Allaire of Brightcove, Jennifer Feiken of Google Video, Jeff Karnes of Yahoo!, Erik Flannigan of AOL, and Ted Cohen of EMI Music.

Dan Farber has a good wrapup of the panel at ZDNet.

Dang, I am *so* off the conference circuit. I was in Hollywood earlier today to meet with my WriteGirl mentee, sorta thought vaguely about that Hollywood event. You still around tomorrow?
